HostelSync is an all-in-one hostel management platform built specifically for Indian hostel owners. It helps you track occupants, collect and record rent, manage expenses, generate receipts, and delegate day-to-day management to wardens — all from a single dashboard.
HostelSync is designed for hostel owners and PG operators in India who manage one or more hostels. Whether you run a single hostel or a portfolio of 20+, HostelSync scales with your needs. Wardens can also use the platform with permissions set by the owner.
Yes! HostelSync is a cloud-based platform that works anywhere with an internet connection. It is designed for Indian hostels with INR pricing, Aadhaar KYC support, and local payment methods, but it can be used from any location.
No. Occupants are managed as records within the system — they do not need to sign up, download an app, or create any account. Only hostel owners and wardens need to log in.
Pricing & Billing
Yes! Every new account gets a 60-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start your trial.
HostelSync offers two plans: Monthly at ₹500/month and Annual at ₹6,000/year (saving you roughly 2 months). Both plans include all features, up to 3 hostels, unlimited occupants, and unlimited wardens. All prices are GST-inclusive.
You can add additional hostels beyond the included 3 at ₹100/month or ₹1,200/year per hostel. There is no upper limit on the number of hostels you can manage.
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period. There are no cancellation fees or lock-in contracts.
Yes. All prices displayed on HostelSync are GST-inclusive. The amount you see is the amount you pay — no surprise charges.
We accept all major payment methods through Dodopayments, including UPI, credit cards, debit cards, and net banking. All transactions are processed securely.
Features
Absolutely. HostelSync is built for multi-hostel management from day one. You can switch between hostels from the dashboard, and each hostel has its own independent settings, rooms, occupants, and financial records.
Yes. HostelSync is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that you can install on your phone like a native app. Just open it in your browser and add to your home screen — no app store download needed. It loads fast and feels native on any device.
Yes. HostelSync automatically generates professional, branded PDF receipts with auto-numbering. You can send receipts to occupants via email or WhatsApp, and customize the branding per hostel.
Owners can invite wardens and assign them to specific hostels with 6 granular permissions: Manage Occupants, Manage Rooms, Record Payments, Generate Receipts, Manage Expenses, and View Reports. Each warden can have different permissions for different hostels.
Yes. HostelSync supports Aadhaar QR code scanning with UIDAI-certified offline signature validation. Only the last 4 digits of the Aadhaar number are stored — no raw PII is ever saved, ensuring full privacy compliance.
Security
HostelSync uses industry-standard security practices including encrypted data storage, secure HTTPS connections, and access-controlled APIs. Your data is hosted on Neon serverless PostgreSQL with automatic backups.
We follow a privacy-first approach. Aadhaar QR codes are verified using UIDAI-certified offline signature validation. Only the last 4 digits are stored for identification — no raw Aadhaar numbers, photos, or biometric data are ever saved.
Google-only sign-in simplifies the experience — no passwords to remember, reset, or manage. It also provides strong security through Google's own authentication infrastructure, including 2FA protection on your Google account.
Yes. Your data is automatically backed up through our database provider. This ensures that your hostel records, financial data, and occupant information are safe and recoverable.
Technical
HostelSync is a PWA (Progressive Web App). On Android, open the app in Chrome and tap "Add to Home Screen". On iOS, open in Safari, tap the Share button, and select "Add to Home Screen". It will appear and behave like a native app.
HostelSync works on all modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. For the best experience and PWA installation, we recommend Google Chrome on both desktop and mobile.
HostelSync is a PWA that provides a native app-like experience without requiring a download from app stores. It supports push notifications and home screen installation — all the benefits of a native app with the convenience of the web.
Yes. HostelSync supports data export so you can download your occupant records, payment history, expense reports, and other data. Your data is always yours.
