By accessing and using HostelSync ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Service is provided by DataHase ("we," "us," or "our") to assist hostel owners and managers in managing their hostel operations digitally.
You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using HostelSync, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
When you create an account with HostelSync, you are responsible for:
You agree not to share your account credentials with anyone else or allow others to access your account. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account.
Your use of HostelSync is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
You retain all rights to the data you input into HostelSync, including occupant information, hostel details, and financial records. We do not claim ownership of your data.
You are responsible for ensuring that any personal data you collect from your occupants or staff is collected lawfully and that you have the necessary permissions to store and process such data using our Service.
HostelSync is a subscription-based service. We offer monthly and annual subscription plans as detailed on our Pricing page. All subscription fees are processed securely via Razorpay.
Important Note: Rent collection for occupants is managed manually by users. HostelSync does not process or hold any rent payments from your occupants. Only subscription fees for using the HostelSync platform are processed online.
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for the subscription fees.
Refund Policy: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. If you're not satisfied with HostelSync within the first 7 days of your initial subscription, contact our support team for a full refund. Refunds after this period are at our discretion.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to the Service until the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial months or years.
You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription through your account settings or by contacting our support team.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:
Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow you to export it. After 30 days, all your data will be permanently deleted from our servers.
HostelSync is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DataHase shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or other intangible losses resulting from:
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of HostelSync shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
Your continued use of HostelSync after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
